When Shadows Lie Darkest was started in late 2008 to early 2009. After going through ideas for the sound Kevin Eldridge started experimenting with noise and atmospheric sounds combine with slow dark music. A lot of earlier tracks were industrial noise/dark ambient. Over a year the sounds started moving in a more musical direction. On October 31, 2010 When Shadows Lie Darkest's free E.P. titled "The Lovecraftian E.P." came out as a free download and is still available. Kevin is slowly piecing together new sounds and should have some music ready in the very near future.
