Don't attempt to speak to me only because you may think I am "attractive" in your eyes.

  • I've been here on VF since 2006; I used to use a different account.
  • I don't have to much to say about myself despite what you read but to be honest, I wouldn't know what to say.

  • I rarely respond to my messages. It's not that I'm trying to be stuck up; there's just nothing much to reply to. If you say something that catches my attention or I find you interesting at first glance, your odds are better. (I do read profiles, no worries there.) So don't be afraid. I do not respond to stupid messages that only read "How are you?" or "what's up" or "You're hot," (or anything along those lines). I want to see substance in what you have to say: if you decide to initiate conversation with me, just be yourself.
  • I will usually get along better with people who have a similar interest. For example, having a sense of humor, a mutual taste in music or being able to discuss astronomy with me is a fine start. (I try not to judge, but I do look at what you listen to!)
  • I will not talk to you about sex unless it's along the lines of the evolutionary psychology of our species, etc. I am -not- the type of female who is "trashy."

  • I am an Agnostic Atheist. The universe is beautiful, and life can flourish in it without having to credit a "deity." The willpower of nature and evolution are fundamental principles of the universe; applicable to Earth life.
I dislike it when people who are of an Abrahamic religion deem Atheists/Agnostics as immoral, selfish, etc. I don't see how that can be applied.

  • I refuse to be told I was made in the image of the fictional, unpleasant, simpleton, ethnic-cleansing, sadomasochistic, genocidal, misogynistic, malevolent jealous bully that is the Abrahamic "god."

  • I'm not as 'cool' as some people think I am (haha). I love Star Wars. My main interests are astrophysics, engineering in general ( aerospace and nuclear in particular), and physical cosmology - besides my attempts at writing. I don't know the fate of what's to come. I dream of being a professor in astronomy/physics, perhaps an engineer. I want to build or contribute to the construction and design of spacecrafts.

  • I suppose I'm a more reserved person most of the time, maybe even a little bit shy (in person). I'd like to call it introverted.

  • I'm short (5'3" or 160 cm), about 52 kg. *sigh* It has its positives and negatives.

  • I agree with both Einstein ("God doesn't play dice") and Stephen Hawking ("God plays dice") [both phrases used figuratively]. I assume these concepts we try to apply in the nature of the universe also adapt to human life on Earth, considering we are a very minute figure within the Universe. Though I'm sure this applies to any reader, my greatest fear is the dice landing on numbers far from my preferences; intentional or unintentional.

I often wish all of you could understand that human affairs are so petty compared to the Cosmos. Most intelligent life lacks the capacity to comprehend this Universe in which we "float like a mote of dust in the morning sky."

And I choose to do what some see as the impossible.

  • I write a fair amount of poetry and nonfiction (usually science papers). I admire select fiction (Lord of the Rings), but could not write fiction or script to save my life.

  • I've never met anyone quite like myself - in person. Not many people in my undisclosed location have mutual interests.

  • Do not assume my location, or you may be disappointed.

  • Interesting Fact: I have 11 Thoracic Vertebrae instead of 12.

  • I play the French Horn; it's a beautiful instrument. I recently rekindled my childhood interest of playing piano.

Yes, I do enjoy *select* metal as well, mostly Viking, Death, and Black. I'm not associated with any of the actions some idiot kids did way back when who thought black metal = satan. But however one wants to take it, again, I follow no religion though I love reading about Norse mythology.
