Profile: Spawn of Psychosis is an industrial metal band from Maidstone, Kent. Influenced by a varied range of artists their music is a mix of old school, heavy riffs, synthesized drums and samples but with a vocal style more reminiscent of old punk bands. Spawn of Psychosis started out as the solo project of frontman SPAWN. After many years of experimenting with home recordings he released the E.P Parasite in 2009. In early 2010 the project became a performing band with the addition of three members, DRAGG, FERAL and later on, WEEVIL. The band went on to record their debut album Children of Pandora which was released in June 2010 with successful sales in the band's local HMV store. The album also received a fair review in Powerplay Magazine. Since then the lineup has undergone a few changes seeing the introduction of new bassist RAZORR who has helped create a much more refined sound for Spawn of Psychosis. The new album "Freakshow Pandemic" is now available to pre-orde from http://spawnofpsychosis.com/#/shop/4561189298 as well as "Children of Pandora" and other Spawn of Psychosis merchandise and gig tickets. "Children of Pandora" is also available for download from spawnofpsychosis.bandcamp.com and on itunes worldwide.
