Something-Witty
Caught off guard at work, haha :) [Nov 2010] [Oct 2010] Prime example of how I look more like a sixteen year old than when I was actually sixteen! Sandstorm back when we first got him <3

Profile:
I'm a strangely complex person, like ka-tet, one from many.
However, I consider some things very important.

I am a graduate. I am lucky. I am tattooed. For the most part, I am happy. I am a rollergirl. I am a blood donor. I am a survivor. I am in love.

My boyfriend Darren makes me the happiest I have ever been, I've never fallen for anyone so fast or so hard. I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have someone that epic to come home to every night.

I studied Live Music and Theatre Production at college. One day I'll be a touring DSM, but until then I shift boxes full of gear and rig. I'm gonna make it though. I'm very nearly there.

I have three peircings and three tattoos.

I work as a volunteer in the Sea Cadet Corps. I teach general training, DofE and expedition training. I love being able to give something back after four years.

I went to Borneo in 2008 and built in a school before trekking through the jungle with a local guide. It seems like forever ago now, but the things I learned stay with me. I play Roller Derby. It's like love on eight wheels; my team is called the Whippin' Hinnies, we're pretty good. Yes, I'm bisexual. No I'm not a tourist, greedy, indecisive, a "fake" lesbian or any of that bollocks. I am powered entirely by cider, banter, tea and sunshine. There are worse ways to live.
I like going to see bands I've never heard of, meeting randoms and generally having a laugh. I don't go to gigs so much anymore, and I miss the days of turning up to local gigs and having a good time no matter who was playing.

I make the best tea. Fancy a cuppa? No really, I do People used to come and see us at Port Elliot just 'coz I made tea :]

Here are a few more things I love:
The sun, sitting on the hoe, plym, music, curling up with a book to shut everything out, staying in bed, hugs, romance, walking, cycling, sailing, cadets, summer lunchtimes down the hack, summer in general, festivals, mullion cove, flying, drill [but nowhere near as much as Kev and Kate], running around the back of the theatre, often away from the SM xD, the period between sleep and awake, converse, lighting design, Port Eliot festival, wine, real ale, boys, girls, anyone with a smile, random nights out, waking up with souvenirs from said nights out, my XBox 360,...epsecailly Fallout Three, DSMing, Roller Derby, skating, shooting at Tipner range, being at sea and the way a ship rocks in the waves, rain, patchwork, cross stitch, burlesque, flashmobs, fairy lights.

This chap right here:

He's fucking amazinggggg

Dislikes:
I dislike few things. But I dislike them a lot:

Overly sweet cider, pretentious non smokers, the BNP, poor TV signal in my house when I pay the license fee, voter apathy, when nothing's on telly, insomnia, being skint, the lack of work for technicians, back blocks, books that promise to be amazing and turn out rubbish, how dark it gets in Winter, having to be a grown up, tax returns, when my cat wees on things.
Favorite Music:
My music collection, according to iTunes, will last me 10.5 days :]
I like anything from britpop, right round to industrial, taking brief pit stops in rock and metal, before a quick diversion through punk. Good eh?

And I don't care of I don't look "alternative" enough, I like what I like.

Live music is the best music, and ska shows are the best shows.
I miss the days of the tiny local scene when I would discover bands by accident, then see them on TV a year later. Good times.
