Hi there, my name is Sian. I come from sunny old Queensland, Australia where I spend my days working on my novels, I'm hoping one day to become a great writer. Most may have once known me on here as Fire_Kitten but thanks to the ever annoying hackers, I had to create a new user profile...but I've been a proud VF member since around 2004!!.
So all in all I am not what you'd call normal compared to most you people one would come across, I speak my mind 99.9% of the time and I'm hardly afraid to voice my opinion whether it's needed or not. Some say that's a good thing, others say I need a rather large gag!
I'm weird, yes, completely off my rocket and as strange as they come but I'm told it's what make me ME so it's all good. I'm not one to trust easily and only have an armful of close friends who I'm ever over-protective of but in saying that I'm always open to make more welcome into my 'furry family.'

A lot of people go on about how 'bad' their pasts are, yeah I'm in that club too deeper than I let on but for me my past is exactly that, those who need to know already do those who don't...you're not missing out on anything special.
I spend my days working on my novels, working with all my cat-friends on the weekends and doing normal life-stuff in between. I'm hoping one day to become a great writer. I do write outside of my own novels, and so I'm here to do commissions, requests and even trades for those of you who may be interested. It is always good to broaden my experiences in writing and it helps with the study as well!!
I currently hold a Diploma of Professional Writing (Novel Writing and Publishing), and in between writing my novels I am studying at the Australian College (Q.E.D) for my Diploma in Professional Editing, Proofreading and Publishing so I’m not always able to be online, but I do try my best to check most days. I believe you learn in many ways through the opportunities that life gives you, you can always expand on what you already know or as the old saying goes "You learn something new everyday.." and we do, whether we know it or not is another thing. After losing her pride a young panther cub, Sian, stumbles upon The Fire pack. Becoming adopted by the most unlikely of creatures, a dragon named Tine her life soon changes.
Follow the two as they battle in life and death to save the pack and Trusk from the gravest of peril, can both Sian and Tine find the answers they seek, or like Trusk, will they be left in shadow forever?
Once more peril threatens the land of Trusk and once more our young panther and her hotheaded mother have to battle for not only their lives, but for the lives of all those who call Trusk home, however this new evil is closer to them than they thought.
Now with Sian thrown far into the past and Tine bound deep under-ground with no chance of escape it is left once more to Sian, with the most unexpected of help can she find her way back home and stop the evil that spreads across Trusk, or will she once again lose the ones she loves for good?.

Murder & mystery of the most dark, descriptive, morbid is my secret love and makes me weak at the knees. I'm not big on reading romance though I am one at heart quite often.
