Hey all, I'm Shelly Van Alen. Just call me, Shelly haha. Anyways, I'm a teenager who loves a bunch of things. Music, fashion, glamour, and books are at that top of my favorite things. I used Gimp. I took one of the original posters I found online, erased all of the original stuff I didn't want, the person & words, added my stuff, my picture & words, and got that as a result. I also had to download special carnival-style fonts I found online for free.
I tweaked my picture a bit, changing it's colors to all red, erasing all of the background stuff & bits of me that didn't need to be there. And I copied the blood splatter from another poster. Had to tweak the background a bit so it was all the same color of black. I made another copy with an even more faded look but I like the one I posted fine.
If you have never used Gimp, it is one of the best free photo manipulation programs out there. I'd even say it's better than a paid version of Photoshop, because it can do some things even Photoshop can't do well.
