If you live always being positive life's gonna fuck you up, if you live always suffering you're gonna fuck yourself up, if you live in the middle it's gonna be fucked up... yet if you laugh at whatever happens the result is always the same, even if it's an hysterical laugh...
People pretend all the time, sometimes to get into a social group, sometimes to get laid but most of the times they do so to achieve acceptation, as we need it to survive. So what's wrong about pretending? If we didn't then we'd have to admit all the shitty things that go through our mind everyday and by simple discretion we NEED to keep quiet so others won't start a crucifixion on our asses, that's how much we need to pretend.. yet throughout my life I've found pretending ain't the same as hypocrisy, no matter how close they might go hand by hand. You see, when you pretend to be a relaxed, out going and smart kind of person people will see right through you sooner or later, and most of the time it turns out to be something cute, cause not everyone who pretends is an asshole in the end. Hypocrisy, on the other hand, is more personal and not something you'll do with several people unless you're a sociopath, not having to take this scenario farther I draw the line between pretending and being a hypocrite, which makes me wonder how much time of our life we spend being both (honesty with oneself people, that's all it takes)
I once thought caring was all that mattered, but it actually ain't enough.. you have to act to make something real or at least possible, knowing about the subject and maybe wanting to change it won't work. My first thought on this came cause of war, yet what does war mean? Now-a-days it seems like some natural process, maybe how the world along with viruses regulates itself, maybe evolution taking place cause the weak just won't die that easily anymore. Maybe that's not so unfair after all, maybe it's Gaia's will... in the end all I can do is act in the ways I can, feed a hungry child at a time ain't fast enough yet moving the masses to do so is a different thing, who says you and me can't do so together? Who says you need to care to be part of it? Now that's a real question...
Ignorance, wisdom, truth, superiority, they are all synonyms in some way.. if you think about it who knows what and why and why is that what better than other reasons/truths to say it’s the good one? I believe in doubt, not always being so sure… cause who can be? Who says a rock is a rock and not shit from an alien pterodactyl? It could happen you know? Tho I’m quite sure of what a rock is and looks like… why not give myself the chance to just doubt? You can tell me what a rock is, as many ancient cultures could have told you what a rock is to them.. even with science, how can we be so sure? It’s like a magic trick… the wonder is in doubting
