If I were you, I would not try to shower me with bullshit "compliments" such as "you're soooooo hot", "u r so sexii", etc. and expect my ice cream to melt. I understand I upload images that evoke such said "compliments". However, I don't take photographs for you; I just choose to share them with you.

If there is a must know about me, it is that I am a Capricorn and virtually all that is said about Capricorn women is essentially true about my personality. I take no shit; I am dominant; I am understanding; but I have no patience. If anything I believe the supposed myriad of patience I have is probably best worded as "high tolerance" which I do have. Other than that, if you are not willing to make conversation with me, don't attempt to bother me; I enjoy conversation – I despise the "I want to talk to you even though we're talking about nothing" type of people.

P.S. Oh yeh, I'm straight edge. "No sex" is NOT part of the original three X's. That may be the new movement but my lifestyle is the original edge: no alcohol, no drugs, no smoking, and I don't condone PROMISCUOUS sex. There is a difference. Mind you though, the Dutch educational system is pretty different from the UK and USA so I don't know how far they went into it. According to my brother most of the stuff he gets in his first year of maths at uni is a direct continuation and at times repetition of what we were taught in high school. You're right though, if from a certain age you get told a certain theory is right, you just assume it is and have no clue why. Maths suddenly sounds a lot like religion to me, woah I'm not sure what all the terms translate to as I was never taught maths in English but calculus has to do with calculating velocity, angles, etc...right? I think I was pretty good at algebra because it all seemed super logical but it's been 3 years since my graduation and I'm pretty clueless now haha. True, though you never know with some of the people in this world... That's always confused me about the USA, you do most things using the imperial system, but you buy your drinks in (centi)liters and nutritional values are done in metric and there's probably more. I'm most likely bound to deal with idiot customers or tool and material suppliers but other than that I hope to work alone of people I chose to work with... Idiots are the worst. Regular people don't seem to exist, haha. Contradicting yourself once every while seems to be a human trait so that doesn't really matter I guess... Plus this is the internet, everyone seems different here! In all honesty, you started it! in our ehh, highly emancipated world, there should of course be no distinction between penis bearers and boob carriers, only idiots and less idiotic ones. Then again, separating people based in their level of idioticism (watch me make up words here, I'm foreign and there of am allowed to right?) would be discrimination based on perceived intelligence! That'd be intolerable in our free society... Or something like that.

Miscalculations are a bitch... I'm kind of glad my future jobs etc will be mostly fact based, haha. Unless someone decides to change the metric system, then I'm fucked. Pssht, us penis bearers can't help physicists are loonies! : ( though I of course fully support females being proven right once every while.
UnderTheSign [Reply]	May 21, 2012, 03:12am I don't know, my brother is currently doing a double bachelor maths and physics and he says physics is easy but super boring as well, so the level of boredom might have something to do with it? In high school maths was definitely easier! Physics seems to be more speculation driven though, "if theory A is deemed correct now, it's the right one. If someone proves it wrong, we'll find something new and pretend it never happened!", like when that machine at CERN apparently found out there was a particle faster than light all physics professors at my brothers uni all just said "well, I guess E is now 'approximately' MC2!"... Only to later find out the particle wasn't faster and they'd just screwed up some of their calculations. The amounts of maths behind minor everyday stuff is surprising yeah, haha. Guess that's good because it keeps the professional geeks busy and gives them a job right?
