Profile: Hey, my name's Daniel and yes, the default pic is me (although it's an old photo), along with some digital work by Fabiola Velasco (go to her site!) (by the way, the name of the pic is "My slave" - "Il mio schiavo"); the pic "Waiting" is from the same artist, and you can see the original photo as well: that way you can acess the work done. Pretty neat, no? I wish I had the talent, lol! I'm 21 and I live in the suburb of Lisbon, the capital of Portugal (no we DO NOT belong to Spain!) Anyone ever heard of it? Well, I guess brits come here all the time, so they should know what I'm talking about. I've completed the first part of my superior education, having graduated in Communications Sciences, specialty Journalism. I'm also about to begin my Masters Degree in Contemporary Culture and New Technologies. I've been involved in research for some time now, and am currently part of the EU Kids Online Portugal team, and I'm working on Media and Journalism Research Center. Anyway, life sucks on this country (BIG TIME) cuz there ain't anything cool to do... And as of June 20th, 2005 I am also a writer with a published book of poetry! This is the cover,enjoy:
I'm not into stereotypes, so I won't say I'm 100% goth, I'm just 100% ME. But since there has been so much fighting about this subject, I'll grant you that I am gothic. The thing is I may not correspond to YOUR definition of "gothic"; besides, this is a title, not a complete sum of what or who I am. I don't care how people dress, I don't care about fashion, but I do care about what people think (execpt when the subject is me... you don't like me? Go to Hell and send my regards to the Dark Lord!) I'm a person that worries about truth, about social problems and about philosophy, and I am very trustworthy. Also, I'm starting to learn how to play the guitar (I suck big time, for the time being... lol). I'm heterossexual but I have a great admiration for all the bi (admiration dash envy, perhaps? - which means that there's a possibility I'd be one, if I were a girl; since I'm not, I'll just remain heterossexual for the time being, don't want any more messing up with my life...). It's the most efficient way to show that you're open-minded and not just a conservative asshole. I have a girlfriend but we're both polygamous, so don't worry about that ;). Well, if you wanna know more about me, learn some Portuguese, teach me some English (or French - je ne l'aime pas beacoup, mais �a va), or anything else, just e-mail me! Likes: Music; movies (American Beauty, Fight Club, Matrix Trilogy, Ghost in the Shell); anime (obviously; currently drooling over Cossette no Shouzou, besides Angel Sanctuary, Serial Experiments Lain and Evangelion, just to mention a few); Death; bondage; blood; vampires (Anne Rice addict); porn; reading & writing poetry-goth stories-theatre (if you have something you think it's cool, let me read it, pliz... send me some poetry, or something like it); interesting and open-minded people who are open for debate; photography; philosophy; politics; pleasure in all its forms; the colours red and black.
