Profile: About requiemofthedamned Requiem of the Damned was born in October '05 when 2 guitarists in Newcastle's metal scene; Darrel (Beneath the Dying Moon, Ex - Lord Kaos) and Stuart (Ex - Insolence, Arcane Rites), decided to put their heads together and begin writing their own unique brand of music, Welding the genre of gothic rock with the dischordant sound of Blackmetal. Composition was quick in the first few months as they began to search for recruitments that would fit well into the bands atmosphere. Brad (Nubrium, Beneath the Dying Moon) accepted the role of Drums and keyboards, Josh (Ex vocalist of Inane Eminence) was chosen for his awsome clean and deathly vocal abilities, Mungo (Nubrium, Mercy Call, Horsefurnace) - Accepted the role on Bass. 7 songs were written of which 3 have been recorded at Darkforce studio's (Newcastle). They are "Derailed", "HellEnd" and "Ghosts". These are proposed as a demo to introduce the RotD. Gigging is being planned and rehearsals are soon to take place. Check back shortly.
