3 piece Hard Rock Power Trio dead set to break out of small Montana town in Summer of 2014 to take the Music Industry by storm. A hard hitting band born into a fragile existence with hopes and plans of rock-stardom and a sound to back it up. Reunited members from childhood; HELLGATE plans to lead New Musical Revolution. At an early age singer/guitarist Joel Floyd West and drummer Jordan Lozeau learned about the powers of Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n Roll. As young as age 7, they would sneak into Lozeau's uncles room, air guitar and lip synch to old KISS records and look through stacks of Hustler and Penthouse. They began playing music together at the ages of 13 and 14, and formed a garage band. The same year that hard drugs and alcohol came into the picture. 3 years later they had a strong following in the Mission Valley of Western Montana, where they were born, raised, and attended High School with current bassist Brandon Eden. One particular night the show got a little out of hand and ended in the venue pulling the plug. This upset fans so much that they would not settle down until the police arrived and started arresting people. By 2004 West and Lozeau parted ways to persue other endevours away from the meth ridden, close-minded black hole of home. West moved to Chicago to join several touring bands. Lozeau to Seattle, WA where he became saturated with the local Metal scene. 10 years later West and Lozeau merged paths once again in the very place they were born. With a refined set of skills and a new outlook on life, they immediately formed HELLGATE. Bass player Brandon Eden jumped on board right away and the band wasted no time.
Haunting grooves, aggressive hooks, and seductive textures describe the organic yet formulaic delivery that HELLGATE has to offer to the Hard Rock scene.
