Profile:   celtic cross wallpaper MySpace Layouts Gallery! Create Your Own Layout Here!  Like most people I usually am at a loss for words as to what I want to say in an online profile. I will be as straight forward as I can and every word I put down will be the truth as far as I know. My name is Gabriel Michael Welborn. I've gone by some nicknames in my time. Most my friends and family call me Gabe unless they are mad at me then its "GABRIEL!" My friends in the navy always called me the Welbo. Either name suits me. I am the third of four children, I have two older sisters and a younger brother. I can't say I like them all the time but I always love them. I was born in Jackson County, Missouri and grew up in Peculiar, Missouri until I was eleven and we moved to Kearney, Missouri. I went through high school there and just recently moved back. I just came back from four years of military service, two years of which were spent in active war zones. I'm not going to sit here and say i seen some shit because there are others who saw way more than me. All I will say is that after seeing the stuff I saw I am very anti-war. I'm a huge animal lover. I'm not sure i dislike any animals. Sure when I wake up and see a spider crawling on my wall I smoosh it but who here can say they haven't done that. I really want to go out and study animals in their habitats whether it be here in American or over seas.Likes: I like several things. I love my music (See below), I'm a huge movie buff. I could tell you my favorite movie but as soon as I say one I will immediately think of a better one. I might be able to do my favorite movie of each genre, but even then it's a hard task. I'm an animal lover, though I'm not a hippie. I disagree with destroying habitats that pandas and condors need to live, but I don't care about the Japanese whaling, because it's their culture. What gives anyone the right to tell a group of people that what they and they're ancestors have been doing for hundreds of years is wrong. I like vinyl records. I like the nostalgia of having the worn out sleeve and the large printed album cover. I collect records so every now and then you may see something in my status about some awesome album I found at an antique store or something. I love my dog Murphy like another brother. I am a huge, die hard star wars fan. I'm one of those guys you would see dressed up as a Jedi at Comic-con. I also love comic books. I'm really into marvel, and just a few DC title. Dark horse is okay too.Dislikes: There not much I don't like. I don't like people acting like a new movie is complete shit just because they grew up with the original version. I hate it when people like a comedian, music artist, or movie when it first comes out then years later make fun of other people for liking (perfect examples include, but are not limited to; Dane Cook, Larry The Cable Guy, Napoleon Dynamite, and the first Transformers movie.) I think really I just hate this sense of knowing what's right and what's wrong that so many people think they have. As far as disliking things it's mostly just attitudes that some people have. The worst for me is someone that tells another person their music is crap. I believe there is no such thing as bad music, just music I don't like. As far as my hippie anti-war statement goes don't expect anything really poetic. I think the majority of wars can and should be avoided but at times war is necessary no matter how much we may hate it.Favorite Music: I will only list the artists I have on my Ipod that I enjoy listening to five songs or more of. Really I like a lot. I'm big into country and really mellowed out 70's rock and hard rock, but you will catch me listening to metal, punk, pop, and even rap on occasion. My favorite artist is Johnny Cash because his voice was very amazing and just the way he carried himself. Here are the artists I like.
