A: No, I wear "dread falls" or "dread extensions" which are made out of synthetic hair, yarn, ribbon, rubber tubing or wool. I have quite a few pairs of these hair pieces, hence why my hair looks different in a lot of my pictures. I usually braid mine into my natural hair which is only about 6 inches long (about chin length).

A:Not as much as you'd think, then again I have a high tolerence for pain. I absolutely love piercings, I don't trust people enough to pierce me so I do all my own work. A few years back I did I little bit of apprentice work, but I am not certified...not yet any way. I would love to professionally pierce one day.

QUESTIONS ABOUT DREAD ORDERS

What is the difference between pairs of falls and a single fall?
Pairs of falls or single falls are made the same way but a single fall has approximately 1 1/2 times the amount of dreads than the pairs. A pair of falls can also be used in one big pony fall.

I don't know much about hair falls/ dreads. Can you tell me more before I decide to buy any?
Hair falls / dread locks / hair extensions: They an instant, temporary way to create a new look, whether it be for a night out, special occasion, or just for fun! Falls come in a variety of styles; synthetic dreads (look like the real thing), or loose synthetic hair, and can be made from many types of materials such as synthetic hair, wool, yarns, plastic tubing, Rexlace (plastic ribbon), cyberlox...but looks great in falls!

What happens if my dreads unravel or look ratty?
If your dreads start to unravel, you can twist them with your hands and blow dry them. Use a straight iron to heat them, or something else that's hot. If its only been 2 or 3 weeks since you've had your Falls you can send them back to me and I will see what I can do. This service is free but you have to pay for shipping to me and for me to ship back to you. This offer does not stand for worn dread extensions (those are the type that braid into your hair). If you wear the extensions of course they aren't going to look perfect, the hair will naturally start to dread. Which it is supposed to do with time and wear. Don't worry, this is to be expected.

Can I wash my falls/extensions? How?
Dread Falls: Try to avoid washing falls as it will make them wear out quicker. I use febreeze and it works great to get out bad smells like smoke. If you must wash them BE GENTLE. Use shampoo and preferably cool water, where as really hot water could make them unravel. Let them air dry. Do not brush or comb them. Try to avoid putting them into the drier.

Extensions: You can wash them while you take a shower. Focus mostly on your scalp when washing. Use which ever shampoo that you prefer. That does not matter when washing your hair. Don't use conditioner. Make sure that you run your fingers through your hair so that way you can seperate the dreads. Twist your hair to ring out the majority of the water. Let the dreads air dry, don't blow dry because it may melt your dreads, or unravel them. Try not to wash more than once a week. Do not brush or comb the dreads.

How long does my hair need to be to wear falls?
You need hair long enough to put into a pony tail or pig tails, at least 2 to 3 inches.

How long does my hair need to be to wear DE Dreads?
Your own hair should be at least 10 cm long. For the best result.

Ordering Your Dreads
Is it possible to make dreads that are bigger or smaller than your standard sizes?

How long does it take you to complete orders?
It depends. Right now I don't have a whole lot of orders in so, that is something that I will keep you updated on.

I need my order fast! Can i get rush processing?
It's possible. If the processing time is too long email me with the date you need your dreads or hair piece by and I will see what I can do. Rush processing can cost anywhere from 5 to 25 dollars depending on how big or small your order and how many days you allow me to do it.

What types of payment do you accept?
I accept Paypal, concealed cash (>at your own risk),and money orders only. Do you install dreads?
No, I only make them. If you live in my area (Marietta Georgia) that is something that can be discussed. When you buy a dread kit you are only buying dreads, not installation, keep that in mind. Just find a friend who can braid to put them in for you. I have a tutorial on how to put them in ready for you when you order your hair. I do not have them prepaired just yet. So if you order dreads from me at this point in time and would like to have a tutorial, email me so that way I know.

Refunds?
I dont do refunds for custom orders. If you take a photo of your dreads, and they are completely unraveling as soon as you get them or something like that is wrong BEFORE YOU WEAR THEM, then send them back and I will fix them. I do not offer refunds because I spent hours to make the dreads, and that would be hours of my time would be lost. I made the dreads custom for you, and there is no guarantee that anyone else will want them and for this I cannot give refunds on custom orders.

What if i change my mind about an order?
Once i recieve payment there is no refunds. this is because once i get your payment i go out and buy the materials nessesary to make your dreads. if you back out of your commitment to buy then im stuck paying for materials i dont need or want, and thats just not fair.

What material are the falls mounted on?
We use 3/4 inch wide elastic.

How long can I expect to wait before I get my falls?
We always recommend 3 weeks maximum, although we always try to get orders out long before this. For $10 you can have an express delivery service - and will receive your order within 7 to 10 working days, or; you suggest when you want the falls (within reason!) and we will do our best to meet that deadline.
