I am known as Ian. the best way to get to know me is to talk to me. I'll try to explain myself the best I can in this collection of text, but it is merely a slice of a snapshot in a dark room.

Make no assumptions about me. It's in your interest ;) And I'll do my best to make no assumptions about you. Unless you give me a DAMN good reason to.
I like to bite. I have sharp teeth.
I do not want to be just another face on another website. But isn't that what we are all trying to do? Fit in? Be loved and accepted? I think I almost understand that Love and acceptance comes when you stop trying to fit in. We all have different back stories. We all have reasons we do what we do.
There is a reason behind every action. I pass many a people and never say a word.
I hope to learn something from you if not about you, and I hope you'll learn something from me, if not about me.
A shot of who I am now: I am very shy. I tend to be misanthropic and distrustful of others. It takes time for me to get comfortable most of the time.
I'm severely jilted and disillusioned. I'm not that hard to amaze. Yet, I still find myself disappointed.

When I get bored, or when I really feel like my profile is getting a bit, stale, I do little tweaks to my profile. It is constantly changing, in small, but important ways. It is alive. It grows, changes, evolves, in an attempt, to be better, to communicate better, and to transcend it's own boundaries.
Now, if this profile is by me, essentially a small part of me, what does that tell you about the rest of me? I expect an essay on my desk...err never. unless you want to. Extra credit points for you. 16 billion of them.

Expectations of Reality: I often expect people to not reply to messages, to not care, and to not read this far. You're just a pretty picture on a pretty background with a pre-generated set of text on the screen that could just as easily be associated with any other profile with a different pretty picture with a different pretty background...All until you take that step, to say something. To become more than a faceless stream of data. To transcend the status quo. To look into the darkness, to take a step, just to see what happens.
So the choice is yours. Just another bit of data, or an amazing person, who is interesting?

There is art everywhere. I look for it, and I enjoy it. I find beauty in a lot of places people don't think any beauty exists.
I am my own worst enemy.
I might be too honest for your tastes. But I think that's ok. I usually don't care for people who have a taste for dishonesty.
Fair warning: IF you want to bitch about your looks, I will not disagree with you to make you feel better.. If I actually disagree with your opinion of yourself, I might say something, or I might not. Really, it's like a pool filled with eels, rapists, vinegar, razorblades, jello-shots, and various other caustic chemicals that WILL eat your flesh. Do you want to jump into that? I don't...
