I bake pretty pies, wear colourful socks, and lurk around on Tumblr.
Yeah, I'm one of those users who've been on VF under various usernames for years.
My arrogance and sarcasm are unrelated to the complex other longtime VF members develop.
That said, I'm surprisingly laid back and easy to get along with.

My husband is an unrivaled joy; my friends are treasures that I hold dear.

Life's too short to be boring.
My name's Emi, and I'm just a girl in the woods.

(Oh, and for those wondering - I'm real!)

Don't add me if you don't know me IRL or in a cult. It's dumb, and I tend to nuke creeps.
Don't be pissy when it happens.

Working on a GED i just keep getting screwed over by my mom. -.- I mean the guy knows I dropped out. He doesn't care, but i just wanted to make sure. You know how some people can be right? They don't tell you something, but you still paid for there time. So you not being able to fully complete the apprenticeship.. isn't there problem. I was just worried he was one of those guys. Hopefully! his shop is nice clean, and everyone inside does professional work. He offered for me to come hang out at the shop sometime to check out how everything works, see the layout of the shop, and watch them in action(which i guess he means for me to see that they do follow proper procedures).

That's not what im worried about though. -.- I heard from some "Know it all" who was being a bitch and acting like I was saying there was no laws for florida. Was saying there was something about needing a formal education, or whatever they call it. She was an irritating person. I tried telling her I realize what I need, and also need a LICENSED PIERCER to sign off saying they've apprenticed me, but yeah. -.- She kept changing it and saying I said that i was told there were no requirements. Gotta love VF at times right? Like... the biggest worry about the whole education thing. :-p I dropped out of high school. I also heard this requirement regarding education was false, but... i don't really wanna go asking piercers, "You graduated high school? is it required that you do for this line of work?" just seems like it's not something you ask your piercer. XD

XD YES! sorry. I finally proved her wrong. I thought neosporin sounded a little off. The lady who taught her... wasn't... ummm.. Okay, a friend of her's told me it was the shittiest shop in NH because the owner, a reputable tattoo artist and piercer, got on drugs and just spiraled down hill. That shop got shut down after my friend quit. No business. Wonder why. -.- Next questions. :3 Since the assholes on the message board of VF were completely rude to me when I asked. Do you know where I can find state laws for being licensed in Florida? I found a shop that'd agreed to teach me to pierce. Not for free of course. Told him, "I know very little dude, so you might get irritated with how much you really have to teach me." He said, that's cool. That's what the apprenticeship is there for. To teach someone who doesn't know and get them licensed, and PROPERLY piercing people. But, before I pay the price, I gotta figure out state laws and see what all certifications and stuff it requires in Florida.

Thanks again for letting me know about neosporin. I thought it didn't make sense, but i always double check with someone who I think knows more then her before trusting what she says. Can you blame me though? I would just go straight to my piercer but.... That man has a shop to run and appointments for tattoos and people for piercings in and out all day. :/ He's a cool guy, so are all the tattoo artists. I'd hate to be the aggravating guy who keeps coming up to the shop everything i have a question that's unbelievably easy to figure out online.

How bad would neosporin be? XD I was told I NEEDED to have some type of lube to stretch. Also was told that my piercing friend(i try not to offend how wrongly she was taught) said to use neosporin or some kinda ointment? Isn't that stuff a little too thick though?

lube. :-p last time i did it and found out the idiot messed up bad when piercing them... i didn't use anything and my friend chewed me out last night about that. Said i was suppose to use some type of lube. lol. All the piercers i know call it a keloid. It's an irritation. Apparently there's another name for it, but -.- every piercer i know calls it a keloid. I found the real name, and lost it. But it's a bump above my ear. It's healing though. I was just up at the shop getting a new tattoo, and asked chris(the piercer who told me what it was) to look at it, and he told me, your doing what I told you to heal that up? Me: Yup, everything you said. Him: Well, it's looking good man, keep doing that till that goes away, and it's fully healed, but since you seemed un-sure in the first place if it was clearing up. Umm.. Check with me before you start stretching"

Okay, well... I didn't know how that works, but that's good to know. Now it's less confusion. :-D

Umm my main worry is. -.- I got the evil keloid. My piercer told me how to get it to heal up. Going good too. Well, I bother him and the other guy at his shop to much with stupid questions. :-p So i don't want to go bugging him about stretching advice. Umm... anyways! Ear lobe thinning out. How do you keep it nice and healthy? JoJoba Oil and Ointment with Vitamn E helps a lot when you do the downsizing and going back up and size thing, but this is just random online reading. :-p Its one of those, i'd rather hear it's not a waste of time from someone who knows a thing or two. Not someone for all i know is just some moron who is trying to act smart, you know? also, when stretching even if it's like going from 14g to 12g what are you suppose to use when putting the new ring/taper in? I used a pincher to get my ear down to 12g yesterday. My ear with keloid. -.- Well it's still at 14g till that keloid heals. Which thankfully its almost gone finally.

Not to be a bother, but didn't MOD have a stretching thread? Like... a full out guide on it? If not, do you know where I can find one? It's been forever since i've read up on it, and don't wanna make any stupid mistakes, you know?
