Since the beginning of the Machine Age mankind has lived harmoniously with technology. Until one day in August of 2003 a bunch of robots from outer space came to Earth and screwed that all up. In January 2004 a team of specialist chosen for their high level of skill at doing a bunch of cool things set off to do battle with The Robot Brains from Planet Zero. So far, so good. But the battle rages on, and the members of the team known only as "DEFENCE MECHANISM" continue to risk life and limb, and make cool music, to keep these insane interplanetary robots from completely destroying the planet Earth. Exciting! Stay tuned to your regular channels for further information as it develops. ********************************************************* Singer and programmer DR. DANIEL X also plays lead guitar in the Industrial Rock band MDM (Modern Digital Militia) . Reviews: "I don't have listen such good industrial music like Defence Mechanism from long time, for me you and some other bands like Hardwire are the future of the industrial scene Please Keep on !!! A Live in Paris will be cool ;)" - Tosmo (via Cdbaby.com) "I don't buy CD's since 2003.But,this one!I just wanted to support such a great work.Every song is A HIT! THANK YOU!" - Crazy Dima (via Cdbaby.com) "such talent and drive deserves as much recognition as possible. they have an original interpretation of deep- rooted industrial sound, it's essential listening." - Vilet Strangt (via Cdbaby.com) "These guys seriously kick ass. If you dig the old school mixed with some new school intensity then YOU NEED TO BUY THIS CD...period!" - Nux V. (from MDM) "Nice to hear a band with a singer with his own style for a change (instead of whispering through distortion in a bad skinny puppy rip-off like most EBM bands these days!) Love the tracks!" - Martin Katscan "as Martin Katscan said, so cool to hear a singer willing to just sound like himself. unique. stay plugged and exploding!" - Jared (from Chemlab) "Defence Mechanism is a graphic and tonally aggressive assemblence of harsh anger, educated fear, and street-level sophistication with an overtly rage-induced dance beat, worthy of the electronic wavelengths that carry them. Their musical approach is subtle at first, ending in a full-bore sonic, as well as thematic, assault on sensibilities you never knew you had upon witnessing them, either on disc or live." - Unknown (via somewhere unknown)
