The History of 501 This project started off as a joke, just something to do on the weekends and then I really started to get into the idea of making music. Real music. First few attempts failed pathetically like everyone else but that's ok! practice makes better :) After a few months I got a real taste for making silly dance music and then it became a lot more serious (but still fun) and some truly serious effort was put into this and with the help and support of my two best friends, the VF Industrial forum, and the "never give up" attitude I kept making songs until they got better and better and now, they are given away here FOR FREE! here at the digital music store. the Influences of 501 My biggest influences (musically) are VNV Nation, Nachtmahr, Faderhead, Ayria, Prodigy, Vangelis, Armin Van Buuren, Tec-Soul, Beethoven, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and many more fine artists. The Sound of 501 The sound of DJ 501 can best be described as me making what ever music I really want to. Sometimes I want to make Futurepop or EBM and sometimes I want to make emotion Ambient music. It really all does vary from album to album, like to keep things moving around and keep the fans guessing as to what happens next ;) The Future of 501 Now that the lovely people of Vampirefreaks.com have taken me under their wing and give away my music at their store, much more time and effort shall be invested into this project. A dream of mine was always to make music and maybe share it with the world one day. That day has come and I owe part of it to this website and the rest of it to my five best friends :D My music can be found and downloaded for free!
