Profile: Likes: friend|rate+comment|favorite I'm sitting here, at my desk, with a million thoughts running through my head; although none of them seem appropriate for a profile text. I suppose I'll start with all the clichéd basics. I'm LynZee, I'm sixteen and I'm another bullshit American. Reading consumes my entire life, or it would if I had that sort of time to kill. I'll be studying Literary Arts at an art school this coming fall. My political views fall heavily within the liberal category; I'm also quite the feminist. I drink, I smoke and I use drugs. I don't mind if you are going to judge me on that, everyone gets judged on something. I'm really into political activism things. I'm quite the feminist; but it should be noted that I believe in equality, not superiority. Equality, that basically sums up all my beliefs and views. Homosexual Marriage, equality to love whomever. Legalization of marijuana, freedom to spend ones free time however they see fit. Pro-choice, freedom for woman to decide what goes on in their body. Anti-Capital Punishment, everyone get's an equal chance at life. Obviously, those aren't my only beliefs, just ones that are most commonly brought up. As for my ideas on life, I'm considered Pagan. I draw beliefs from many different walks of life, and I sort of combine them all to make my own complex belief system. I mainly take my views from Buddhism, Native Hopi and Mayan spiritualism, Hinduism and various Spiritual/New Age ideas. I only hold two rules of conduct: love the earth and respect fellow animals. Other than those two very basic rules, I do as I please. I don't enjoy popular culture, I enjoy breaking from what is seen to be normal. I want to find my own way, without a culture telling me what to become. All I know is that I want to learn for the rest of my life, I want to help people, and I want to make a difference in at least one persons life. With that being said, I've made an extensive list of things to do before I pass on. I highly doubt I'll accomplish every single one, but I'm going to try anyway. I'm coming to the all too familiar feeling that I'm sounding dull, inane and simply wasting your time. I think profiles are a dreadful way to understand someones being, and I hope no one will judge me too harshly from my profile.
