About Me
My name's Dalida
I go to post secondary school to pursue my career in providing the support and safety that children and youth lack. When this program finishes, my goal is to attend another post secondary school where I will obtain a bachelor's in social work and social services. If by that time, I am not poor and living on the streets because of the expenses that schools like this come with, I might apply to another post secondary school and attempt to recieve a bachelor's in psychology and a masters in cognitive developmental sciences.

I hope you're sensing that I am a big advocate of education.
It is indeed a big part of what I live for. To teach myself, and to be taught. To expand my very small mind.

I believe in dualism. It is a theory that addresses the existence of the mind among other things. To some people, it may seem like, "Well of course there is a mind, who says there isn't?" Well, who says there is? You cannot see it you cannot touch it, so how do you know it is there? Of course, playing the devil's advocate in this debate would lead me to nothing. Because like I said, I do believe in the existence of the mind.

I also really enjoy learning and expressing my opinions on astrology. If I sound like a kook to you, then so be it.
Might I add, I am NOT a fucking psychic.
That has nothing to do with my fascination with astrology.
WTF? I'm not seeing into the future, dumb ass.

I don't swing both ways, and I don't have multiple relationships. I have self control and I am not seeking for the attention of people I don't know or don't give a fuck about.

Sooo, I usually don't give a shit when people call me a bitch or some other trademarked degenerative term. Whatever, I don't give a shit about you. Call me what you'd like... and by the way: I'm proud of my bitch ways.

Don't get me wrong though, I can be a loyal, empathetic and an easy going person. Of course, people have their good days and people have their bad days. And I ain't sorry if you catch me on my bad day ;)

I have had red, purple, green, blue, and yellow hair. I have cut one side of my hair longer than the other, I have given myself thick choppy bangs, soft parted bangs, hair to my chin, hair to my waist, shaven on sides, hair with random layers. I basically love hair and the art of fucking with hair.

I love Dr. Pepper and zebra print.

I don't know why I went a little random there. Just adding things about myself that maybe other people may connect to with me? One can only hope we can get past the "OMG I LOVE ZEBRA PRINT TOO" phase of the coversation. That being said, I'm generally an open-minded person. Unless you're some stoner, and I mean the full definition of the word, or uninterested with expanding and filling your mind with lots of good old knowledge, then I probably will only get through the "Hi, yeah, zebra print is totally awesome" conversation. //end of.

I'm not some pristine totally full of myself person. I'm just saying, I can't really converse with you when all we have to say is how lovely the distorted structure of black and white lines look on pillows, blankets, bags, and hair clips. I love mindless shit. But uhh, how far can we go?
Favorite Music
I wouldn't be bothered listing off all my favourite bands or what not. I've done that a million times before, and it's just like blah to me. I'll share genres though:

Good old American heavy metal, grunge, gothic, acid punk, ambient, classical, electroclash, electronica, new wave, dark wave, ebm, aggrotech, industrial, euro-house and techno.

I particularly dislike "popular" music of the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s. I dislike punk, jazz, do-wop, oldies (a.k.a rock of the generations). They just don't interest me. I am a big fan of 80s punk transfiguring to synthesizers over the loud incoherent ballads which was and is known as the new wave era. I love music with great lyrics, I love music with no lyrics, and I love music with great beat.
