Darkness falls across the landscape, erasing the discreet patterns of the light; awakening the slumbering beast beneath. The shadow of the dark moon caresses the crimson pool where the cat who stalks the garden wall waits for me. Echoes of the stone garden from verse to curse. Sketched in blood the future signed away in speed and metal. Taste of the forbidden, toxic to the tame. I am she who must not be named.

In the between when night falls, I feel the dark tide rising. Black river of blood and pain.
