~~**Music and Nursing. A strange combination right? But they are what I am most passionate about, by far. It's through those two things that I am able to express, what I think are some of, the best qualities I possess.**~~ ~~**I attended Gulf Coast Community College when I was sixteen, and graduated the following year when I was seventeen. I couldn't legally work until I was eighteen so from then until now I have been working for about three years. Nursing is confining, though, in a sense, because you are expected to speak, dress, and act a certain way. This, being all in the name of professionalism, which is understandable. You take care of a vast array of people, all from different backgrounds and cultures and religions and they are there because they are sick. So I pull my hair back, wear light make-up, and cover my tattoos. It's necessary to provide a stable calming enviroment. As a nurse, it is my job to attend to every facet of a person's well-being. Both mental and phsyical. So yes, you do sacrifice individualism, while at work, but being given the ability to nuture and care for an individual and to make a difference in someone's life is far worth the miniscule sacrifice. It truly is a priceless reward.**~~ ~~**Then there is music. I have always been passionate about music but didn't start making use of my own musical talents until about a year ago. I have just always had other more pressing priorities. I'm a vocalist and a song writer, and slowly working on becomming a musician as well. Right now I'm tackling the guitar. I am also planning on attending the College of Music at FSU next fall for Vocal and Opera training.**~~ ~~**I don't label or classify my music. It is, whatever people perceive it to be. I have been in two bands, already. Both of which didn't make it very far, due to other members' lack of work ethic and drive. It's a hard profession to survive in. It takes alot of work and dedication, countless hours of practice, sacrifice of personal pleasures (such as a social life, lol) and several attempts at finding the right band-mates. There just has to be that perfect chemistry. I also think that some things are better left as dreams to some people, a distraction from the every day mundane, to those people the work load and reality take the fun out of it.**~~ ~~**But all work and no play makes Jane a dull girl. I love to have fun. I love to laugh and I consider myself a bit of a social butterfly and a geek. My interest are widely ranged so I enjoy a variety of different activites. You only have one life to live, so strive to live it in the fullest in every aspect.**~~
