A Midnight Tragedy is a strong force in the local music scene. With strong harmonious vocals that are as catchy as they are entising and outstanding and unique music behind them it is no wonder this band is cementing their name in the face of rock. Started back in December of 2005 AMT emerged onto the local music scene winning new fans at every venue they played. AMT is a true ROCK band with no restrictions as to where the music would go. Every song is a story, a story of angst and triumph all rolled into one musical montage. From the first bar on the piano to the last chord on the guitar, A.M.T sends you on a mystical journey with their music. In their short time together as a band they have done so much. Since 2005 AMT has played at many venues all over NY and NJ including Starland Ballroom and the Stone Pony in NJ, and The Legendary CBGB'S in lower Manhattan. Amongst those accomplishments AMT has been featured in multiple publications and have played some very high profile shows including a Main Stage spot at the annual Starland Ballroom Summer Campout with Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish and Streetlight Manifesto and even landed a spot on the 2007 Van's Warped Tour. 2008 saw to be a good year for AMT as they performed on the MLB stage at the 2008 Bamboozle Festival and even landed a spot at Six Flags Great Adventure with Boys Like Girls and Good Charlotte. 2008 also saw AMT signing with Indie Record Label Stitched Up Records. On top of all of that A Midnight Tragedy has proved that they can make a name for themselves outside of their home territory by embarking on their own self booked and funded New England Tour in 2007 and a full East Coast Tour in 2008. So what does the future hold for A Midnight Tragedy? Well, they are currently getting ready to hit the studio for a follow up EP to Reinventing The End. AMT is also getting some big shows lined up for this coming fall/winter with some high profile national acts including The Legendary Misfits so keep checking the myspace for more info. Finally AMT will be filming a music video this coming fall that will be released by their record label Stitched Up Records early next year.
