I'm a small town girl living in the big bad city. Going from Southern Illinois to Las Vegas is a huge change for someone know doesn't know any different. I moved here not knowing anything. I was shy and insecure. My life revolved around partying and drugs, but I have rid my life of all that negativity.

Everything Happens For A Reason

Moving away from my family was the hardest choice I've made in my entire life. But out of every bad situation comes amazing things. I now feel completely whole with my immediate family. I have a great boyfriend and amazing friends. I am succeeding in school, and I have a job. My life is swell.

If you don't already know, my name is Makenzie Rae. I'm sixteen years old, and I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm completely secure with myself, and 100% content with my life. I'm a naturally friendly person, but I'm also very irritable. I don't keep many close friends, but in this city, it's a bad idea.

I'm a junior in high school, and I believe that all the work that you put forth in school will give you a promising future. When I 'grow up' I want to be a culinary and pastry chef, and maybe even own my own restaurant. I have big dreams and expensive taste, so I have to take care of myself.
